The Ginkgo biloba tree is one of the oldest living tree species (over 200 million years old). The tree’s main properties are found in its leaves, where concentrations of the main active principle, known as flavonic glycoside, are at their highest. Ginkgo biloba extracts therefore have antioxidant properties.
